Description A postdoctoral research contract is available within the Astrophysics Group at INAOE to work with Dr. Anna Lia Longinotti in the field of Active Galaxies with primary focus on observational properties of multi-wavelength outflows and their role in AGN feedback and galaxy evolution. The successful applicant will focus his/her research on the connection of multi-phase outflows in AGN but will also be free to pursue independent research and collaborations.

Tasks and activities The successful applicant will focus his/her research on the connection of multi-phase outflows in AGN but will also be free to pursue independent research and collaborations
 
Skills and experience
  • X-ray spectroscopy millimeter astronomy
  • IFU spectroscopy
  • Radio and VLBA techniques
  • Experience in X-ray data is a bonus but not necessarily required
